I bet the “check engine light” was on at the end of the movie.
Wonder if he was pulled over for the shot out tail lights: P That would be suspicious : P
Extremely well made movie – a classic Frankenheimer direction – u r constantly on the edge of your seat – with some minute details taken care of – including the bashing of the head lights and the tail lights – and all side and rear impacts so that the airbag does not open up. A great short film, indeed!
if i was one of the bad guys i would never have been able to shoot such a beauty!
Stupid
@marshall91T1 that’s what insurance is for :0)
WHY DIDNT THEY CREATE A FULL MOVIE???? idiots……..
Clive Owen is great and all, but hasn’t anyone else noticed that’s Tomas Milian!?
Italian cult legend man.
Frakenheimer…one of the best at chases. It shows. RIP.
DTLA
now he can install some xenons
umm, the money he made could never repair that car!
This is what Owen’s screen test would have looked like for James Bond.
Details I noticed about the car and the film.
Titanium silver metallic 2001 BMW (E38) 740i Sport.
Steptronic 5-speed transmission.
Widescreen navigation system screen suggesting a September 2000 to July 2001 build date which was the last for the E38.
The driver was braking with both feet for maximum pressure on the break pedal while the parking brake pedal is visible in its original position.
The van could be nitrous equipped, but couldn’t match the BMW’s handling.
A very well executed film.
i got the original dvd when it came out, thought it would suck but, I could watch these for the rest of my life. Marketing genius
I like Ambush better than the 750il scene in Tomorrow Never Dies.
RIP John Frankenheimer.
This is his 2nd final film.
I love the E38 7 series, it’s so pimpin’.
a 740i as fast at 240 km h NO! not even if he has 400 hp
BMW managed to prove one thing about the 7 series. Its not bulletproof.
@musewolfman
the rear seatbelts on all, at least older BMWs where all that way to prevent passengers hitting eachother incase of your car rolling in an accident, quite clever actually haha
And great film, love the 7 in this
This is a Fantastic film, and what blows me away is that there is no music. A great story with tight direction, good performances from the cast, and great visuals.
